Hamas: No calm for free

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Hamas Movement on Thursday denied presence of contacts between Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman and Palestinian resistance factions on truce with Israel, saying it wont accept any new truce in return for nothing.

Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri said in a press statement that the Israeli occupation authority was responsible for collapse of calm, adding that Thursday is the last day in the calm agreement and there is no intention to extend it.

"We do not accept mediation in a free truce which is for the sole benefit of the enemy," he said, charging that the IOA had not abided by articles of the calm.

Masri further denied presence of any contact with Suleiman regarding the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, adding that conditions for his release did not change.
