Hamas denounces PA security for kidnapping wives of Palestinian prisoners

NABLUS, (PIC)-- The Hamas Movement strongly denounced the PA security apparatuses in the West Banks for kidnapping at night Saturday two wives of Palestinian prisoners from their homes in Nablus, considering it a despicable behavior outside the traditions of the Palestinian people.

In a statement, Hamas stated Sunday that the PA security apparatuses had stormed the houses of two prisoners in Israeli jails, namely, Riyadh Al-Nadi and Ahmed Abu Al-Izz in the Ein refugee camp in Nablus and took their wives by force in front of their children and the camp refugees to their headquarters as the IOF troops had done before with the fathers Nadi and Izz.

The Movement also considered this act a new crime and dangerous behavior demonstrating further moral decline and lack of ethics of these security apparatuses which are under the command of PA chief Mahmoud Abbas and his unconstitutional government.

The statement noted that arresting husbands by an enemy occupying the Palestinian lands is something expected, but kidnapping Palestinian wives and mothers by Abbas's security apparatuses is a continuation of carrying out dirty jobs as assigned by American general Keith Dayton.

The statement called on the Palestinian women's rights organizations to take an effective role in protecting women from political arrests carried out by Abbas's security apparatuses, adding that arresting Palestinian mothers is a crime against them and their children who are deprived from their mothers after they already have been deprived from their fathers.
